On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Super Bowl was televised, and I would venture to say that most people had it on their calendars to watch, attend Super Bowl parties, or in some way, keep track of what was happening throughout the game. This year was the first time I understood parts of the “gameplay” and it was a lot more enjoyable. In fact, I even watched a previous broadcast of the 2023 Superbowl, which featured the same teams, Chiefs vs. Eagles. That gave me a little more perspective into the rivalry between the two teams. I didn’t have a specific team I was rooting for, but after the 2023 broadcast, I settled on the Eagles. Why might you ask?...because they hustle, they work hard and seem to be unrelenting in their mission to do their absolute best in every game. Some people may say that’s a basic mindset all teams should have but from my limited perspective, the Eagles continue to show that “warrior” mindset in all their games displaying a relentless quest to win.
In listening some of the press and interviews, (that is a first for me…)…they highlighted just how focused and driven they were to bring home this Superbowl championship, more than ever before. With every game each season, they were determined to get back to the Superbowl and win the title of champion, especially from the Chiefs. It highlighted their resilience and desire to be the best and this focused determination and dedication was evident when they won Superbowl! In the interviews and articles I read afterward, everyone seemed to continually emphasize how much of it was a team effort, the victory was the team’s victory…everyone played a role in this championship. Those are critically important words because success is always a team effort! The Eagles were so entertaining to watch, and that “hustle” was reflected in how they played the game.
So, congratulations to the Eagles…as they are a reminder of the importance of teamwork, the unrelenting drive to succeed, and the resolve to do your absolute best, even beyond what you think you can do! The same mindset applies to the business world. When you demonstrate the talent, the resolve and determination it takes to win, you deserve the victory!
