Katie Bigelow, CEO & Founder of Mettle Ops, Honored Among the 2025 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies by the Women Presidents Organization

New York, NY, May 7, 2025 – The Women Presidents Organization (WPO) today announced its 18th annual list of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies, recognizing Katie Bigelow, CEO and Founder of Mettle Ops, as one of the honorees. Headquartered in Michigan, Mettle Ops is a defense engineering firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions in support of the U.S. Department of Defense.

This year’s list highlights women-led companies that, together, generated over $7 billion in gross revenue and employed more than 15,000 people in 2024. Honorees demonstrated sustained growth over the past five years, reflecting the economic resilience and leadership of women across industries including manufacturing, health and wellness, travel, consumer goods, and defense.

To be eligible, companies must be privately held, woman-owned or -led, and have reached at least $500,000 in annual revenue for each of the past five years. Rankings were determined through a proprietary sales growth formula that considered both percentage and absolute growth. The list is sponsored by J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking, and participation was open to all qualifying businesses, regardless of WPO membership.

Katie Bigelow and the other honorees will be celebrated at the WPO Entrepreneurial Excellence Forum on May 8, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort. Following the awards ceremony, honorees will take part in a panel discussion to share insights with fellow women entrepreneurs.
