Mettle Craft Manufacturing Receives First Order Within MA IDIQ Contract from CCDC GVSC
Sterling Heights, MI – Mettle Craft Manufacturing, a joint venture between Mettle Ops and Prosper-Tech Machine & Tool, has received its first order with its Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) Build-to-Print contract. Mettle Craft Manufacturing is supplying more than six hundred Cylinder Mount Assembly Passenger and Driver pieces.
The MA IDIQ contract is a five-year opportunity worth $19 million awarded to Mettle Craft Manufacturing and three other businesses. It was awarded in February 2020.
Mettle Craft provides surge support for Built-to-Print component requirements through fabrication and manufacturing for the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC), previously known as TARDEC. It supplies mechanical parts and assemblies including mechanical fabrication, machining, assembly, procurement, verification, quality control & assurance, packaging, and kitting.
